Exide EFB (enhanced flooded battery) batteries have been developed in close collaboration with leading European car manufacturers. The EFB battery is based on a technology where the electrolyte is impregnated in fiberglass-polyethylene separators. This allows fast and repetitive boot-load cycles. This is an essential prerequisite for vehicles equipped with a Stop & Start system.
