Fully synthetic engine oil. Contains organometallic polymer, which is extremely durable and gives the oil film high load-bearing capacity and plasticity. Castrol EDGE TITANIUM FST engine oil has very good washing and lubricating properties. Suitable for year-round use with normal charging and turbocharging in both conventional and racing high performance petrol and light duty diesel engines, where the manufacturer recommends SAE viscosity class SAE 10W-60 and grades ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4, API SN/CF or earlier. Castrol EDGE Titanium FST 10W-60 is the only engine oil approved by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) BMW AG for use in the engines of BMW M models. This engine oil is suitable for use in most VAG Group motor vehicle engines (up to the year of issue 2007) where the vehicle manufacturer requires an engine oil that complies with VW 501.01/505.00 approval. Not suitable for use with engines with extended oil change intervals or engines with exhaust aftertreatment systems equipped with particulate traps (DPF) and three-way catalytic converters (TWC), unless otherwise specified by the car manufacturer.
